From the beginning at Comfort Dental, you are an owner. We combine the old-style neighborhood dental practice with today’s modern group practice. Equity ownership, autonomy, management of your own business, and long-lasting relationships with your patients are combined with our economics of scale, prime locations, mass marketing, and overhead control. It truly is the best of both worlds.

Comfort Dental’s franchise business model maximizes your earning potential. By taking advantage of economies of scale, our monthly overhead is far below industry standards, with an average overhead of just 49%***.

We don’t offer jobs. Comfort Dental offers full equity ownership from day one. No vesting period, no waiting 2-3 years or more for “partial” ownership. Partners recapture their equity upon retirement or departure with substantial tax benefits. Comfort Dental’s business model offers the opportunity for passive income. We offer a very affordable purchase price and 1-year fully refundable franchisee trial period.

Comfort Dental’s business model is recession proof and offers long-term success. Our focus is on affordable, quality care and convenient hours. We’re open evenings and Saturdays. We work hard and believe in being nice to patients. Our office success rate is 100%. We’ve never closed an office in more than 30 years. Comfort Dental’s partnership concept allows for a 66-hour clinical schedule with no downtime. Our dentists have flexible schedules, and have plenty of 3-6 day long-weekends without loss of income because the office is covered by your partner(s). That means you’ll have more personal time!

Exceptional New Patient Numbers
Comfort Dental’s aggressive marketing generates over 208,000*** new patients annually. We have a management support network team led by Dr. Rick Kushner, the nationally recognized expert on practice management. Comfort Dental promotes a partnership support network within the office. Our symbiotic doctor income distribution system promotes healthy, positive competition within the partnership. If your partner succeeds, you succeed.

Comfort Dental is involved in the community. Every year since 1984, we’ve put on Care Day, giving away free dental care to those in need. Over the years, we’ve given away tens of millions of dollars in dental services and helped thousands of people in communities across the country. Care Day began is a way to improve access to care to people most in need. President and Founder, Dr. Rick Kushner says, “There are a lot of families out there who just can’t afford dental care, and Care Day might be their only dental visit all year. We’re proud to host Care Day and help people.” More about Care Day

As a working Mom or Dad, Comfort Dental dentists can have it all. Enjoy a 30-hour work week (2-3 days/week), all while earning almost double the average dentist in the U.S. according to the ADA. Or maybe a half partnership fits you best, working only 12-18 hours per week. Whatever fits your lifestyle, Comfort Dental offers a partnership for any dentist wanting to work and raise a family.

Comfort Dental is currently expanding into these states: Colorado, New Mexico, Arizona, Montana, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Kansas, Ohio, Texas, Washington, Kentucky, Indiana and Missouri. These states offer the best opportunity for success based on our business model. We are not expanding beyond these states at this time. If we add states to our expansion, we will post them. To apply, you must be willing to work in one of these states. If you are not willing to work in one of these states, do not apply as you will not be considered.

A Letter from a Comfort Dental dentist

Hi Rick,
I just wanted to say thank you because I haven’t yet taken the opportunity to do so. Coming from working in a true “corporate” environment right out of dental school for a year or two before I joined CD, I have gained a much greater appreciation for Comfort Dental than I would have coming on board right out of school. One company wanted me to be an “owner doctor” in Las Vegas. They even built a brand new practice which was slated to have my name on it. Fortunately for me, I came to my senses when my friend Mike Millburn talked to me about his experience with Comfort Dental. I listened to your CD’s, looked at several offices, and never looked back. That was 3 years ago.

Shortly after I moved to Parker a brand new office from the first company I considered opened up here in town. Coincidence? Who knows, but thanks to a solid system that works, I’m not sweating it! Instead of 70 plus percent overhead, partners that rotate through faster than new patients can come back for a continuing care exam, and paying managers that manage managers, we’re keeping overhead low and profits high.

One of the biggest differences for me personally is being able to present financial arrangements and be flexible in helping those that truly need it. I am ashamed to say that I had to turn away numerous patients that were in a great deal of pain in my previous situation. Because they couldn’t pay, I wasn’t “allowed” to cut them a break or arrange a financial agreement. And it’s no wonder they couldn’t pay when we were charging $1000 plus for a crown! I’m happy to report that in the last 3 years I haven’t turned away one person, and I sleep better at night (partly because my conscience is clean, and partly because I’m exhausted.)

Being a part of CD has blessed my life. Dental school and practice debt are debilitating, but have been more than manageable thanks to the Comfort Dental system/philosophy and 3 great partners. Rockies and Broncos tickets are a nice perk too.

A Sincere Thanks,

Nate Sherman DDS
